Well, today's masterclass went excellently. The one focal idea for my piece, the image/sound of a spinning top on top of the snare drum, works perfectly. The miniatures seem interesting, and I don't have a whole lot of editing to do on the existing three... so only 2 to go, editing some poems a friend provided for me, and making a pretty little score :) ...!
....now, too bad I can't really begin working until 10:30 PM tonight!

You know...I have a lot more work to do than you...Maybe I should have been more detailed in my work yesterday and this morning. I'm having a hard time getting to all the cuts and edits and rewriting now...
ReplyDeleteluck of the draw I guess... I chose a piece where most of the "detail" was in the conception, which I did starting the moment I walked out of the room. I'd probably be having a harder time if I chose a piece with more "notes" - next week! Gotta challenge myself!
